Termasuk Madeline Albright (bekas Setiausaha Negara Amerika), Martin S. INDYK (Pengarah Saban Center at Brookings, United States), Michael O’HANLON, Steven HEYDEMANN.

Yang hadir dan menjadi ahli panel dalam forum itu semuanya pendokong ISLAM LIBERAL yang pro Amerika; Barham SALIH (Timbalan Perdana Menteri Iraq); Ziad ABU AMR (Presiden Palestinian Council on Foreign Relations); Daoud KUTTAB (Director, Community Media Network, Palestine); Bouthaina Shaaban (Minister and Political and Media Advisor to the President, Syrian Arab Republic; Shibley TELHAMI (Nonresident Senior Fellow, Saban Center at Brookings; Anwar Sadat Chair for Peace and Development, University of Maryland, United States); Salih Mahmoud OSMAN (Member of Parliament of the Sudan); Ahmed RASHID, (Freelance Writer and Journalist - Pakistan); Saad Eddin IBRAHIM — (Chairman, Ibn Khaldun Center for Development Studies, Egypt) dan lain-lain.

The Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy) , Amerika Syarikat.

Kehadiran Katherine MARSHALL dalam membentangkan pandangannya semasa sesi 'Faith Leaders Building on the Common Word: From Consensus to Action' jelas menjelaskan matlamat US-AGENDA US – ISLAMIC WORLD FORUM. Dia merupakan senior fellow Georgetown University's Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs, dan Pengarah the World Faiths Development Dialogue. Dia pernah berkhidmat di Bank Dunia pada tahun 2000-2006 sebagai counselor to the World Bank's President on ethics, values, and faith.

Katherine MARSHALL, (dua dari kanan) Senior Fellow, Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs, Georgetown University, United States pendokong pluralisme dan liberalisme.

Report Launch: Building a Knowledge Society in the Arab World

Building dynamic, innovative, and flexible economies that add value through the creative application of human initiative is now a central challenge of all societies. The challenge is particularly acute in the Arab world. As a group, these 22 countries lag other regions—and their own potential—in educational achievement, scientific advances, and economic growth. In 2003, the United Nations Development Programme published the Arab Human Development Report 2003: Building a Knowledge Society, which examined the region’s progress in developing the knowledge, skills, and institutions rewarded in today’s global economy. A New Millennium of Knowledge?

Assesses what has happened in the five years since the 2003 report was published, what successes towards building a knowledge society have been achieved, what work remains, and what has failed. It analyzes what has occurred in the last five years in terms of governance, education, science and technology, knowledge-based industry, and building a knowledge culture. Drawing on the insights of a distinguished group of experts, it then recommends tangible steps toward achieving the vision of a knowledge society in the coming five years

Power & Responsibility: Building International Order in an Era of Transnational Threats

As Washington prepares for a presidential transition, the time has arrived for a serious rethinking of American policy. For the United States, this is no time to go it alone. Authors Bruce Jones, Carlos Pascual, and Stephen Stedman in this book present ideas for the Obama administration, working with other global powers, to promote together what they cannot produce apart—peace and stability.

Recommendations follow more than a year of consultations with policymakers and experts all over the world. They reflect the guidance of the Managing Global Insecurity Project Advisory Group, composed of prominent figures from the United States and abroad. They call for the new president and key partners to launch a 2009 campaign to revitalize international cooperation and rejuvenate international institutions.
