Kongsi Gelap: Bukit Aman siasat dua exco Selangor

Pegawai polis Bukit Aman mengambil keterangan kakitangan dua exco kerajaan Selangor, Ronnie Liu dan Ean Yong Hian Wah, berhubung dakwaan ahli parlimen PKR bagi Wangsa Maju MP Wee Choo Keong.

Siasatan itu dibuat sewaktu ahli jawatankuasa pusat DAP itu menghadiri pehimpunan penamaan calon PAS di DUN Permatang Pasir, sementara Ean berada di bangunan sekretariat kerajaan tengah hari sewaktu kedatangan dua kumpulan pegawai polis itu.

Wee mendakwa exco berkenaan terbabit dalam kegiatan kongsi gelap - walaupun beliau, yang juga bekas ahli parlimen DAP, tidak menamakan sesiapa dalam artikel blognya.

Jumaat lalu, Wee dipanggil ke ibu pejabat polis kontinjen Selangor untuk memberikan keterangan berhubung dakwaannya itu.

Beliau dilaporkan berkata telah mendedahkan nama beberapa exco dan individu lain yang dipercayai terbabit dalam dakwaan di blognya.

Underworld links: Cops at S'gor exco offices


The police have visited the offices of two Selangor exco members, believed to be in connection with their probe into alleged links between exco members and underworld figures.

At 1.45pm, the police were still checking files and questioning people at the offices of Ronnie Liu and Ean Yong Hian Wah at the Selangor state secretariat building in Shah Alam.

The police, from the federal commercial crime department and the cyber crime unit, arrived about 11.30am. They have been camped inside the two offices since then.

Ean Yong, who is the state DAP chief, was present when the police arrived. However, Liu is in Bukit Mertajam for the Permatang Pasir by-election nomination.

The police are taking statements from Ean Yong and his staff. A similar exercise is also being done at Liu's office with his staff.

The investigations into the alleged links between the exco members and gangsters were begun after a blog entry by Wangsa Maju MP Wee Choo Keong claimed that the office of a Selangor exco member was being used by some underworld characters.
